Fine Motion Characters Get Story Revisions in Umamusume: Pretty Derby

The name Fine Motion is certainly familiar to fans of Japanese horse racing, as well as those who play the game Umamusume: Pretty Derby. Most recently, Cygames as the developer revised the background story for the character from Ireland.

According to Automaton, the revision itself is related to various texts as well voice lines which previously implied that Fine Motion was part of an Irish noble family. Now she is described as a descendant of royalty who “settled” in Ireland and is the daughter of a high-ranking government official.

This change certainly has no effect on gameplay as well as the characterization of his own character. Fine Motion is actually still shown as a horse girl who is graceful and polite, and of course still loves ramen.

While writing this article, I just found out that in the game it turns out that Fine Motion lives in a dormitory in the same room as Air Groove my wife.

Fine Motion will soon be released on Umamusume global

Although this change may obscure Fine Motion’s true background in the Umamusume story, it certainly does not discredit the original horse, which was also born in Ireland before being sent to Japan.

Cygames itself did not explain in detail the decision to make these changes, but there were many fans It is speculated that this is because the character will soon be released in the global version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby. If you follow timeline An accelerated Japanese version is expected to arrive in January 2026.

Furthermore, another reason that may be more relevant is because Ireland itself is a republic and not a monarchy. As a game that takes inspiration from many real things besides the existence of horses, this change was apparently made to avoid unwanted noise.

As additional information, the Fine Motion horse itself has achievements that are no less amazing, namely winning eight first places out of fifteen competitions that the horse participated in throughout its racing career.

He also won two G1 races—the Shuka Sho (2002) and the Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2002), for which he was referred to as “savior horse” because his victory saved his farm from bankruptcy.

Despite his brilliant racing achievements, unfortunately Fine Motion’s career as a breeder was not successful because he suffered from a chromosomal abnormality which made him unable to give birth.

So, what do you think about your response? crime about this? Come on, let’s get straight to it share your opinion in the comments column.
